Support for our community
Whether it’s running a solo marathon by an employee to raise money for the Cancer Council, a team of managers cycling 500km across Tasmania for Australia’s oldest charity, or a field office offering mock interviews and mentoring advice to students – Robert Half is a company that actively gives back to its community.
Robert Half support
For many years, employees at Robert Half have supported numerous charities across Australia and around the world, through both individual efforts and team activities.
To demonstrate how integral community service is to Robert Half, we offer every employee two days of paid leave each year to volunteer for a nominated charity.

Time to Give
To join Robert Half means to join our efforts of being an ethical corporate citizen.
Our Time to Give platform allows Robert Half employees to volunteer, donate or fundraise for nominated charities. Employees can choose to either individually support a charity, or collaborate with their office team.
Here are some of the recent activities that our staff have contributed towards:

The Benevolent Society
To support Australia’s first and oldest charity organisation, three staff members of Robert Half cycled 500km in just over five days from Launceston to Hobart to raise awareness and money for The Benevolent Society. In total, the team raised nearly $6,500 in donations for this incredible cause.

St. Baldrick’s Foundation
For the second year in a row, staff from Robert Half’s Asia Pacific region shaved their heads to support the fight against children’s cancer at an event hosted in Hong Kong. In total, Robert Half donated USD$35,000 to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation towards research efforts.

Sleep at the G
With the prevalence of homelessness in Australia reaching astounding numbers, the Robert Half Melbourne branch volunteered to join the Melbourne City Mission “Sleep at the G” event were over 1,000 Melbourne locals slept at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, with nothing but a sleeping bag to experience what life is like for many Australians today. Additionally, they raised $1,500 to support Melbourne City Mission’s ongoing efforts.

Fiver for a farmer
With Australia recently battling one of the worst droughts it has seen in the last 100 years, Robert Half staff nationally held a “dress up as a farmer” day and raised $1,500 to donate towards Rural Aid.

Daffodil Day
Staff from Robert Half’s Auckland office collected public donations in support of Daffodil Day. Each year on the last Friday of August, over 9,000 volunteers nationwide in New Zealand collect donations for the Cancer Society with funds going towards providing free support services, information and cancer research.
