Robert Half is currently recruiting for a highly regarded and prestigious organisation in Melbourne's outer western suburbs. Private parking is available free of charge on site. This is a large commercial organisation but with a family oriented and supportive team, you will be given full training as well as long term employment prospects. They have a very stable finance structure but are looking for someone to work initially on a contract basis with a view to becoming permanent later this year.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:
* Month End Reporting
* Bank, balance sheet reconciliations
* Variance analysis
* Posting journals
* Looking after the property related costs and revenue streams.
* Dealing with HR and legal costs
* Extensive stakeholder management tasks and liaising with key Managers at all levels
You will also use the organisations in house accounting system and will liaise regularly with customers, internal sales teams and senior managers across the business.
This is a busy and challenging position where no two days are the same.
To be successful, you will be a skilled accounts candidate who has previous exposure to Financial Accounting and month end related duties. We are looking for applicants with a minimum of 3 years experience and are ideally looking for someone who is comfortable excel. You will also have strong communication skills, a pleasant personality and the ability to start quickly. Crucially, you must have your own car and be comfortable working in the western suburbs. The role will commence in August so quick start availability is essential.
