The Company

Pioneering Legal Software Support/Document management vendor based in Sydney's CBD is expanding. The core of their business focuses on giving lawyers options around how to effectively manage workflow/documents efficiently.

They have a critical pipeline of new customer implementation for their legal software into new clients environment and premises.

The Role

The Software Migration/Deployment Technician requires the ability to understand client requirements and create practical solutions for their reporting needs. They also need to work with around 8 support professionals and other members of the team to ensure a streamlined migration from one system to another, and must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Report template customization
  • Technical guide writing/documentation
  • Running customer migrations and deployments
  • Bug testing
  • Client system configuration changes.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2 years of experience in a professional services environment.
  • Experience with report writing software (SSRS, Crystal Reports, Dev Express, etc.)
  • Basic programming skills (Experience working with XML is a plus)
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Powershell and Windows Shell.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software (Jira, Redmine, etc.)
  • Documentation managements skills
  • Content Management Experience would be an advantage
