Company and Role Summary

Our client develops and produces scripted and non-scripted television programs and feature films for audiences throughout the world. Formed in 2008 they are one of the most dynamic production houses in Australia.

With a diverse output, the business produces television drama, children's programming, factual and entertainment content, animation and feature films for the domestic and international marketplace. They have also developed games and apps to enhance its programs across all available platforms. They work with some of the most exciting writers, directors and producers in Australia to deliver content that is internationally renowned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain approved general accounting practices to ensure accounting, financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business.
  • Maintain the general accounting functions including journals, accruals, reconciliations, month end processing, source documents and other supporting documentation.
  • Responsible for reconciliation of all Bank Accounts (includes bank entries, including fees, Interest, transfers, manual payment entries & accounts receivable receipting).
  • Responsible for Month End close.
  • Review & upload Productions Trail Balances into SAP on monthly basis.
  • Maintain intercompany accounts and transactions including intercompany eliminations and recharges.
  • Manage the revenue/accounts receivable operation of the business including invoicing, cash collection and external reporting.
  • Manage and report on current development projects to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Completion of NBCU quarterly reporting requirements- Balance Sheet Reporting
  • Responsible for managing Reporting & Reporting to Participations
  • Take lead in managing Concur Expense - Expenses and Corporate Credit Cards


    • You will ideally be studying towards or have recently completed your CA/CPA qualification.
    • Previous exposure to SAP is desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Eager to learn & ambitious
