Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Trust support for the Sydney office - including maintaining Trust and Controlled Money accounts, dealing with Trust enquiries in accordance with agreed timeframes, preparing Trust reports and arranging Trust Bank Drafts and Bank Cheques.
  • Ensure compliance with all trust regulations as specified by the Law Society.
  • Provide processing support the for Melbourne office in relation to trust and CMA Accounts.
  • Assist in improving the operation of the finance function, looking at ways to improve our service to the business and becoming more efficient and effective as a function.
  • Provide back up support within Finance.
  • Comply with WHS obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the requirements for this role as set out on the intranet.


  • 3-5 years full trust account experience
  • Strong communication skills with particular focus on client relationships
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Co-operative and able to work unsupervised
  • Good organisational skills, with a thorough and methodical approach to tasks
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work and remain calm
  • Ability to work well with people and motivate others to achieve agreed outcomes
  • Ability to meet deadlines and provide a high standard of support
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and focused
  • Strong attention to detail, high risk area that requires 100% accuracy in processing.
