This company employ 300+ staff in 8 locations across Australia and delivers life changing services in the OH&S space to thousands of Australians every day.


As the Service Delivery Manager you will be the main point of contact between IT and the business and responsible for leading a small team to ensuring IT services are successfully delivered and enhanced to 350+ users across 9 sites.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Leading and managing a team of 3 Service Desk Analyst's
  • Ensure all IT infrastructure services are effectively delivered to the business.
  • Managing 3rd party IT supplier / vendor relationships.
  • Cost & budget management - e.g. supplier negotiations, & cost optimization.
  • Actively engage with the business to understand user requirements, IT issues, pain points etc then work with IT to remediate.
  • Incident & problem management.
  • Project management - leading IT projects across the business and ensuring they are seamlessly rolled out via effective planning, communication, training, coordination and execution.
  • Compliance management.
  • Occasional IT support overflow if needed.


Suitable for a friendly, positive & motivated self-starter with proven IT service delivery and staff management experience inside mid-sized organization.

It is well suited for someone who likes learning new IT systems and enjoys the challenges of working inside business that is evolving and striving for operational excellence.

The following is required:

  • Extensive IT Service Desk / IT Helpdesk background, knowledge and experience.
  • Strong capabilities ensuring IT services are effectively delivered internally to a business.
  • Proven staff management experience of 2-5 Service Desk staff.
  • Cost management, budgeting experience and a track record of finding cost savings / cost optimization.
  • A friendly and positive customer service champion with great relationships building skills.
  • 3rd party vendor / IT supplier management and negotiation experience.
  • A genuine desire to make a difference and improve IT.
  • Ability to supporting Microsoft stack

This is a full time permanent role located in the Sydney CBD and offering $100,000 - $130,000 (including super) - depending on experience
