About the Company
The company has a commitment to success and has operated in the legal and consultancy industry for over 65 years and an established industry leader.
Their new office is in Sydney CBD, in the process of expansion they requested further IT infrastructure support.
As the Service Desk Analyst, you'll be responsible for providing a range of IT support from desktops, hardware, software, and network connectivity, to escalations where necessary.
You will be providing level 1/2 IT helpdesk support in a team, acting as the primary point of contact for a range of IT troubleshooting and end user needs. Also troubleshooting remote support for all staff connected to the company network.
Your duties will involve using service desk software, across telecommunications, server/network, desktops and internal systems, reporting directly to the IT manager and working closely with system engineers. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, ensuring SLA's are met in the form of on-time delivery of problem resolution, working with the following technologies:
- Microsoft OS, Outlook
- Active Directory
- Windows 7 / 8 / 10
- Experience with ITSM system
- HTML, ITIL and WMWare is desirable
A Suitable Candidate:
The following is required:
- 2-3 years experience providing Level 1/2 help desk support via above listed technologies.
- Understanding SLA's and delivery of IT support for all endpoints
- Proven experience dealing with users at all levels
- A friendly and sociable personality yet professionally presentable
- Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal
This is a full-time permanent role located in Sydney CBD (close to public transport), offering $60,000 - 65,000 (plus super) - depending on experience.
The role will start as a 12-month fixed term contract before the opportunity to move into a permanent capacity
