The Company

This will be a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Planning Analyst Controller to join a multinational firm that specializes in various industries such chemical, medical and electronic manufacturers. Our client has a finance team of 15 people and has a turnover of 80 million in 2018, and is a leading Industrial Services company with clear plan for sustainable long-term growth within Australia and the Asia Pacific Region. It is one of the largest supplies of natural gas and operates in over 80 countries. In this role you will lead the analyst aspects of the business and will report the results to various management stakeholders within the organization, whilst also lead the company's future strategic direction.

The Role

  • Analyzing current and past financial data for the firm and looking at current financial performance and identifying trends and future outcomes
  • Preparing reports on the above information and communicating the insights of these reports to the wider business and regional stakeholders
  • Consulting with the board to develop long-term commercial plan objectives
  • Suggesting budgets and improvements based on the accurate data that is produced
  • Exploring different investment opportunities for the firm to continue to grow within the Asia Pacific region
  • Developing financial models and providing financial forecasts to various stakeholders
  • Developing initiatives and policies that may improve financial growth

Your Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business or related field.
  • Power BI
  • Experience with leading a FP&A team
  • Outstanding experience spanning at least six years in operations finance.
  • Highly technically skilled
  • Building lasting relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong history of Developing financial models and providing key forecasts
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Impressive problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Able to think strategically and operate effectively with management.

You must have pin point accuracy and an innate skill for detail that drives you to fashion the highest quality financial data.
