Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing month end process duties, including posting journals and general ledger reconciliation;
  • Preparation of the financial statements, including reconciliations and liaising with internal and external stakeholder
  • Assisting with preparation of month-end group consolidation and management reporting;
  • Assisting with preparation of quarterly US reporting and statutory financial statements and reconciliations;
  • Performing bank reconciliation on a daily basis;
  • Preparation of monthly BAS and other statutory requirements;
  • Preparation of quarterly ABS surveys;
  • Performing various banking administrative tasks, including bank deposit, bank guarantee administration and preparing third-party payments;
  • Performing reconciliation on cash deposit clearing accounts;
  • Performing administrative tasks including liaising with internal stakeholders and preparing third-party payments;
  • Other ad hoc duties as requested by your Manager.

Main Requirements:

  • At least 3 years full time experience from a commercial background or chartered firm;
  • Preferably qualified or well under way to completion of accounting technician qualifications desirable;
  • Previous experience with large ERP system preferred;
  • Advanced Excel skills;
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills in dealing with internal & external parties;
  • The ability to multi-task and work unsupervised;
  • A mature, friendly and positive manner;
  • Attention to detail, ability to produce work in a timely and efficient manner; and
  • Being a team player
