Preparation of monthly statutory P&L and balance sheet
Delivering monthly management reporting to some business units every month
Maintenance of the fixed assets register
Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with year-end audit & the preparation of statutory accounts
Assisting with the preparation of accruals and provisions
Understanding our business model and the revenue and expense recognition applicable
Providing collaborative and timely support to colleagues and business stakeholders
Qualified/Part-Qualified CPA or CA and Undergraduate degree in Commerce or Accounting
Awareness of the Financial Services industry and key drivers
Advanced level of Excel skills and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain strong relationships
Proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a focus on process enhancement
Effective time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and operate under pressure in a dynamic environment
