Broad Financial Accounting role, covering all areas of accounting including month end, tax, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and business partnering. By utilizing your strong time management skills, you will help prepare reports and statements by coding documents through leading accounting systems, whilst also assisting in the company's bank transactions. You will constantly be challenged and will face new operational requirements as you post financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers, both manually and electronically to ensure compliance with business governance mechanisms are in check. You will be liaising closely with the financial controller, where strong training and mentorship will be provided, which will also provide you access to the various stakeholders within the company. There is tremendous scope for your talents to shine as you work to maintain the firms multimillion-dollar assets, whilst also being a senior accountant for the company. This role will be high octane and will also require extensive ad hoc work compliance, so the role will require adaptability.
Your Skills & Experience
Are client is a preeminent Australian investment and wealth management, constancy and advisory firm with over 16 billion in assets. They are a privately owned and have been helping their clients for over 30 years and their recent strong growth within the fund management sector and the firms continued Sydney expansion has allowed for an exciting opening for a Financial Accountant to join the flexible and dynamic team. Alongside this opportunity for career progression, the firm provides unparalleled work space/office, with flexible working arrangements alongside a continuous training and development program which will be run by the financial controller. Lastly the Financial Accountant Position reports directly to the FC, though you will be managing commitments over other team members.
You must be a strong communicator and have experience with liaising with stakeholders. You must have strong interpersonal skills and a love for numbers that drives you to produce the highest quality results. An ability to constantly show tremendous time management skills with real passion for pinpoint accuracy and an unparalleled eye for detail is essential for this role. You must have strong communication skills and robust working attributes to lead a team, whilst also having strong self-motivation to work in an autonomous fashion. You must be accountable for both your working actions and an innate ability to understand the essential importance of deadlines. Your entrepreneurial outlook alongside allow you to take on a variety of problems in an ad-hoc fashion to ensure that the highest quality results are achieved.
