The Company



An ASX listed property business based in the centre of the CBD is currently seeking a Finance Manager. Recognised as a market leader in the industry the business is currently expanding through a number of exciting acquisitions. The Role



As Finance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability and integrity of the company's results. The role requires a desire to implement continuous improvements within the internal controls of the firm and ensure compliance is in line with appropriate policies and procedures.



Reporting to the National Financial Controller the role will require you to manage the finance function for 4 entities. Key duties will focus on;



· Supporting the financial control and management of 4 entities.


· Assisting in the formulation of internal controls and policies.



  • Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports.

  • Managing and training 4 staff members (2 Senior Financial Accountant, 2 Qualified Financial Accountants).


· Automating accounting processes as well as other business processes.



  • Tax reporting.

  • Responding to financial inquiries by gathering, analysing, summarising, and interpreting data.

  • Providing financial advice by identifying potential complications and applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations.

  • Collecting and analysing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates.

  • Ensure all company statutory requirements are met promptly.

  • Preparing weekly cash flow statements and controlling expenditure and cash flow.

  • Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.

  • Conducting internal audits on key financial functions.

  • Examining and reviewing financial records to check for accuracy.



Your Skills & Experience




  • Professional certification in accounting - CA or CPA.

  • Property experience is advantageous.

  • Big four or mid-tier experience is desirable.

  • Exposure to a large ERP SAP, Oracle etc.

  • Prior management experience.
