Robert Half are recruiting on behalf of a professional services organisation located conveniently in Sydney's CBD. This organisation is well known across Australia and New Zealand and offer an excellent work environment that includes flexible working hours, both standing and sitting desks and free breakfast for all staff. Due to an increase in workload they require a tenured Credit Officer to join them with an immediate start. This role would suit a team orientated individual and is likely to extend after 3 months with strong performance.
As the successful candidate you would report into a friendly and approachable Credit Manager and work alongside a team of 3. Your day to day duties will include:
- Managing a ledger of approximately $1 million a week
- Allocating and receipting payments
- Reconciliations of accounts
- Customer invoicing
- Assisting with month end reporting
- Daily collection calls
- Responding to queries and managing issues.
Ideally you will be a tenacious Credit Controller who has proven success in a similar role and experience managing a large commercial ledger. Your negotiation skills will be second to none, as well as your ability to develop strong, long lasting relationships with clients. Ideally you will have an excellent working knowledge of a large ERP and will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and must be immediately available to start work.
