The Company

A new opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join a vibrant, energetic team is now available due to growth. Work alongside supportive management and peers in this collaborative office environment. You will be responsible for managing delicate clients who need a little bit of extra care, so your brilliant customer service skills will be in demand for this role!

Role

Reporting to the Team Leader and working in a finance team of 5, you will be responsible for collecting and negotiating payment with a large client base (1000 clients). You will be responsible for managing your own clients and building long lasting relationships.   • Collecting by telephone and written contact with clients.
  • To assist fellow Credit Controllers by conducting telephone calls to collect cash
  • Responsible for ensuring the minimisation of risk to clients from credit exposure.
  • To work with fellow Credit Controllers to resolve queries
  • Undertake Receivables work including review of sales ledgers, debt verification's, credit management etc.
  • Create relationships with clients.
  • Ensure that your performance operates in accordance with existing SLA's.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate and on time to Clients and initial feedback times are adhered to.
  • Work with other credit controllers to form an efficient cohesive team.
  • Collate weekly summaries of collections for review in summary charts.
  • Conduct cold call marketing calls when required to generate further leads.
  • Deputise for assistant manager where required
  • Lead projects and drive forward others as a senior member of the team.

Your Profile

As the successful Credit Controller you have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be a key person in maintaining relationships and assisting with any queries. In addition to the above, you will have:

  • Prior experience in B2B Credit Control
  • Demonstrated experience with successfully reducing 90 day balances
  • Ability to proactively problem solve
  • Demonstrated ability to handle difficult stakeholders
  • Outstanding conflict resolution skills
  • Stable career history
  • Demonstrates organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to drive projects and think of solutions
