This very large, successful and well known business operates within the Healthcare sector and provides services to thousands of Australian's on a daily basis. Being firmly established within the Australian market they have experienced considerable over 100% growth in the last 2 years and are expected to match that again in the coming 2 years. As a result growth they now require a talented, hardworking and passionate Financial Controller to join the team. Working for this business you will enjoy:

The Role

  • Overseeing and controlling the finance functions of the business
  • Provide leadership to the Finance team through effective objective setting, delegation, supervision and communication
  • Ensure optimum team performance through effective leadership, training, coaching and recruitment
  • Ensure financial and reporting requirements are completed in an accurate, efficient and timely manner including delivery of financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure accounting activities are conducted in accordance with established legal, regulatory and internal policies and procedures
  • Co-ordinate external audit activities and ensuring audit recommendations are implemented within the agreed timeframes
  • Providing financial information, advice and analysis to the Senior Management team
  • Strengthening the Finance function by executing process improvements and strategic initiatives
  • Assess potential opportunities for expansion
  • Provide regular analysis of business performance and recommendations for improvements

Your Profile

  • This role is ideal for an experienced team manager with a strong technical background. Big 4 experience highly desirable
  • Previous experience leading or working on an IPO desirable
  • Display a stable and consistent work history.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Show an ability to think outside the square, problem solve and show the initiative.
  • Display a friendly yet hardworking personality
