Description

The Role

The Applications Consultant is responsible for ensuring successful Content Management Software implementations to each of the business's customers.

The role is multi-faceted, will require and experienced consultant in software (content management) installations, configurations, SQL scripting to ensure the smooth integration of content management software to the businesses existing customers. The Consultant will provide on-site and remote support, assisting clients with the delivery of projects through the installation, testing and deployment of the chosen solution and design.

Strong client relations as well as the ability to liaise between the organization and the Professional Services clients is key.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring successful implementations of the chosen technology and smooth delivery of services to the firms clients. Business Analysis & Project Management experience highly regarded.

  • Experience of devising and hosting technical workshops with clients and roll out the relevant technical solutions to suit each customer.

  • Formulate project plans from implementation to resource planning

  • Work closely with the customers internal support teams to ensure seamless handover of application services into production

Key Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • ITIL, Prince2 and/or Agile, would be an advantage
  • Content Management Experience
  • MS SQL Server, Windows Server, Exchange, Office, Load Balancing/Networking, Citrix, Group Policy, SYSPREP, PDF Docs, Laserforms, Big Hand

  • Someone who enjoys a challenge and consultancy with a strong Customer Focus
  • Someone with a good applications/Content Management OR Junior BA background with Consultancy/professional service experiences
  • Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal

· Ability to quickly, build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues
