Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of an Industry leader in the Retail space. Situated excellently in Alexandria just a few minutes' walk from a train station and close to bus lines. On offer is a close-knit team who share in their wins and create a fun and dynamic work environment. They are looking for a hard-working and vibrant individual who can join their finance team and progress internally.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for managing a number of accounts, tracking customers behind on payments or who are about to enter arrears. Your duties will include:
- Allocating and reconciling incoming payments
- Reviewing payments in arrears
- Daily banking using SAP
- Liaising with sales for outstanding accounts
- Reconciling receipts daily
- Processing of all receipts, imputation of cheques and electronic payments
As the successful candidate you will have a minimum of 1 years' experience in an AR role, preferably in the retail sector. You will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Sound proficiency in SAP, coupled with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, is desirable. The ability to work without the need for micromanagement is a must, as well as confidence in your calm manner.
