Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of a highly successful Property organisation that are located in Sydney's CBD just a stone's throw from shops, cafes and bars. Due to extra work load they require a tenured Accounts Payable officer to join them for approximately 3 months with an immediate start. The company is experiencing growth so there is a strong possibility that you can be made permanent with strong performance.
As the successful candidate you will report into a friendly and approachable Accounts Payable Manager and will be working within a team of 4. Your duties will include:
- Matching, batching and processing high volume of invoices.
- Processing cheque and EFT payments.
- Ensuring purchase orders are received and approved.
- Account reconciliations.
- Weekly and monthly payment runs.
- Assisting with queries.
Demonstrating high accuracy and excellent initiative, the successful candidate will present well with a proven track record in a similar role. You will bring your intermediate excel skills and will put to use your prior experience using a large ERP system. Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential as well as the ability to remain calm in a high volume environment. You will be immediately available to start work.
