Reporting into the National Payroll Manager duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Processing of time sheets
- Loading of new staff details into the payroll system
- Processing of terminations
- Maintaining records and filing
- Liaising with management and staff in regard to payroll issues
- Management of all year-end tasks such PAYG, payment summaries, Payroll tax, and work cover
- Interpreting awards
- Payroll reconciliations
- Year-end reporting
- Process improvement
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer or Payroll Specialist who is looking for a career opportunity with advancement. You will have the ability to communicate with different stakeholders across the business, deliver exceptional customer service no matter how under the pump you are!
You will have the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement change in the payroll process while maintaining the processing of the weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs.
With 5 years plus experience under your belt, you will be able to identify opportunities, work under pressure and work within a team environment.
