Our client is a leading global organisation, specialising in manufacturing and servicing within the construction industry. Over the last 20 years, the company have had expediential growth, due to acquisitions and currently have 4 subsidiaries.
The role reports into the HR manager and requires an experienced payroll officer to assist in streamlining the multiple entities into 1 payroll. Currently the organisation run weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs across these entities thus the reason for creating a simplified process. The company have their payroll system outsourced to ADP and the daily duties include the following:
- Weekly & monthly pay runs
- New starters
- Knowledge of Award Interpretations
- Work cover
- Liaising with internal stakeholders regarding payroll queries
- Overtime calculations
The suitable candidate will possess knowledge of ADP or experience in multiple pay systems. Ideally the candidate has worked in a similar role, where they have assisted or been responsible for streamlining a company's payroll process. A construction or manufacturing background will be looked upon favourably.
