We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant for a growing and highly successful Property Development company based in the Eastern suburbs.
The organisation has delivered continual growth due to their innovative property developments which have led this business to being one of the market leaders in their field. They obtain a number of entities and have achieved ample organic growth as they start to find economies of scale.
Australian owned, they maintain a great workplace culture with very low staff turnover, this role offers flexible hours in terms of start/finish times and will provide the opportunity to become part of a very close-knit team which is hard working and high performing.
The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
- Bank recs
- Invoice Processing, matching Purchase Orders
- Supplier/Creditor reconciliations, petty cash reconciliations
- Balance sheet/GL Recs
- Full function AP/AR
- Processing payments
- Monthly accrual adjustments
- Attending to queries
- Entering data into Xero
- Payroll full function (approx 30 people)
- Month end reporting
- Ad Hoc administration duties
- Excellent communication skills is essential
You will be passionate and experienced Bookkeeper/Assistant Accountant and you must have Xero software and payroll experience. You will have a passion in providing outstanding customer service and have worked successfully in autonomous roles previously.
Experience in working within the Property industry is ideal but not essential. Ideally you will have worked in a multi-entity environment.
You will also be flexible in your outlook and be commercially minded, maintain excellent attention to detail and have a willingness to continually learn and improve.
