A respected and leading Catholic College based in the South East is looking for a full function Credit Control Officer to start immediately and join their team on a temp basis, with a view to permanency.
This largely autonomous role has a large emphasis placed on ensuring that outstanding debt is managed in a considerate and respectful manner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and respected team that loves to provide essential care and support to students and the wider community. This role will report to the Business manager and you will perform duties including;
- Resolving payment discrepancies
- Account reconciliations
- Devising payment arrangements
- Bank reconciliations
- Month end reporting
- Customer service
- Assist with other ad/hoc financial tasks where requested
- Payment processing
Ideally the successful candidate will maintain experience in working in the educational/and or Health and not for profit sector. You must maintain excellent communication skills and have an ability to build positive relationships with debtors using a tactful approach. You will need to be able to work unsupervised in a team environment where you have managed your own debtor's ledger. To be successful in this role, you must show a high attention to details and have outstanding organization skills.
You will be required to have excellent communication skills and present yourself with professional and understanding phone manner.
