The Role

Your role is to take responsibility for the Financial Reporting of the Australian side of the company. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will act as 2IC, and will be the go to person in other departments who have questions about finance and accounting matters. With 1 direct reports, you will have plenty of support to take ownership of this function. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Accurate and timely delivery of financial reports (both half and full year) as well as statutory and internal reports
  • Financial support to other divisions as necessary
  • Compliance reviews
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Managing stakeholders from other divisions of finance, as well as senior management and front of house staff
  • Mentorship and management of your team
  • Continuously look at improving and streamlining processes

Your Profile

My client is looking for a bright and high achieving accountant who is able to problem solve and work collaboratively with the team. You will also have:

  • CA Qualification
  • 3+ years local Big 4 Audit experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with non-financial staff
  • Ambitious and highly motivated
