Our client the largest distributor worldwide delivering more than 500 million cases to 17,000 restaurants around the world each year. In addition to their main Client' services, they service other quick service restaurants in Latin America.
They are the exclusive distributor to the Client's restaurants across Australia and New Zealand. Their network of distribution centers span across all major capital cities in Australia and New Zealand with nine sites and approx. 500 employees across ANZ.
Key duties include:
Oversee and coordinate the effective functioning of Accounts Receivable (including all Accounts receivable related accounts on the balance sheet).
Oversee on a daily basis, the application of bank direct deposits to debtors, direct debits and AMEX file preparation and provision of document copies to stores.
Process both periodical store rebates and ad hoc bulk debits/credits
Raise miscellaneous invoices on a periodic or ad hoc basis.
Answer queries and problem solve requests directed from external customers and internally from Customer Service/Relations, IT and Finance.
Identification and involvement in implementing projects designed to deliver process improvements.
Prepare bank reconciliations (including the transactional recording of treasury function on daily basis)
Work to ensure that the budgeted working capital position for each period is met.
Complete banking on a daily basis to ensure that all transactions in the bank are recorded and allocated appropriately in JDE.
Reconcile the monthly movement in any reserve related account to ensure correct disclosure on the balance sheet.
Reconciles general ledger balances and investigates discrepancies as necessary.
3 years commercial experience
Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance
Advanced excel skills (vlookups, pivots etc)
Fantastic communication skills at all levels of management
Great can-do attitude
