Due to growth in the team, a rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced credit controller.

THE ROLE

This role will be sitting in a credit control team, reporting directly to the credit control manager. The business consists of two sides, Financial and Risk and, Tax, Accounting and Legal. The clients consist of top tier law firms, accounting practices and government departments over Australia and New Zealand. This role will be responsible for a ledger of $20M and include:

Duties will include:

  • Checking customers credit ratings and risk review
  • Setting up terms and conditions of payment
  • Timely and effective collection of all debts
  • Negotiating customer payment plans
  • Building strong customer relationships and maintaining these to ensure correct points of contact are kept in place
  • Escalating accounts when payment is not received
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally
  • Dealing with complex invoice queries
  • Reconciliation of debtor ledger
  • Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems
  • Providing accounts information to internal departments

Your Profile

This role is ideal for an Accounts Payable Officer with strong numerical aptitude and excellent soft skills who is looking to move into a role that has a focus record accuracy and relationship management. In addition to the above, you will have:

  • Intermediate MS Excel
  • Organised - able to manage invoices that are at various stages of the approval process
  • Efficient
