Work for a global manufacturing and distribution company, a business that has been a market leader for decades, and that continuous to invest in its people, technology, and processes, in order to stay at the top of its game. This is an organisation which delivers projects on a global scale, its people work closely together in the APAC region when delivering complex technology solutions on a major scale. The local team are also closely knit, and the business suits outcome orientated team players who can take the initiative when necessary, but also work within international frameworks.
With a local and international reporting line the Business Analyst will be working closely with technology and the business to ensure the company gets the most out of its ERP, and successfully delivers a raft of new technology initiatives.
In this role you will have full ownership over the Pronto ERP system. This means testing, configuring, implementing and troubleshooting/supporting the ERP. The business is currently using this ERP but wants to get more out of it, in addition to this there are several major upcoming technology initiatives. As new core business systems and technology solutions are introduced each will need to integrate with Pronto, and you will have to work closely with the local and global team to help deliver several projects.
This role does have a breadth of responsibilities, and there is a balance between eliciting requirements for upgrades, and additional features, fixing issues and supporting the business, as well as assisting with implementation and configuration.
This is a permanent position and long term the business predicts that this person will take up further BA responsibilities, and will work on process mapping, process reengineering, workflow analysis, and systems training for a broad range of technology solutions beyond Pronto. Equally you will be Australia's Pronto expert, and the organization is likely to stick with this ERP for the next 2-3 years.
You will likely be working in a Business Analyst or Technical Consultant role and will be very knowledgeable in Pronto, across most, if not all of its modules. A technical skill set that will allow you to test, configure, troubleshoot and implement Pronto is necessary. Experience involving business analysis, process mapping, creating workflows will all be beneficial giving ongoing and upcoming projects.
A willingness to play a key role delivering complex projects, as well as spending some time on day to day support, and in training users, is an important character trait. This is a large global company with a smaller presence here in Australia and the position will suit people who like a little breadth and variety in their role.
Your working history should include most if not all:
- Experience in the administration and implementation of Pronto.
- Experience, testing, configuring and troubleshooting Pronto.
- Experience in process mapping, workflow analysis, and process reengineering.
- Analysis and implementation or core business systems and SAAS platforms.
- You should also have great written and verbal communication and work well with a broad range of people.
