The Company



Our client is an international company who are looking for a switched on, experienced Accounts Receivable officer to join their accounting team to start immediately. Their head office is based in Sydney's North Shore, and due to the rapid growth of their company, are now looking for someone to come on board to help with the extra work load. This position will start off as a temporary role, with the opportunity to be converted to permanent for the right person.



The Role



The responsibilities of the successful Accounts Receivable Officer will include:




  • Monitoring and maintaining customer information

  • Invoice production

  • Receipting and allocation of payments

  • Inputting and processing journal entries

  • Assisting with month end close

  • Reconciliation of accounts

  • Monitoring customer accounts for delayed payments



Your Skills & Experience




  • Degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce or related field.

  • Strong experience in an A/R role spanning at least two years.

  • Forward-thinking skills in MS Excel.

  • Strong communication skills to maintain positive working supplier relationships.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent time management skills.
