The Company

Are you an animal lover? If so, look no further! Our client is one of Australia's market leaders within the insurance services industry. They are seeking a Human Resource Business Partner who will offer the provision of strategic value and generalist Human Resource Services to managers and the rest of the team.

The Role

You will be in a key leadership role which is responsible for the management and delivery of HR Services. This role is focused on the implementation and support of people initiatives, providing workforce planning advise, research and analysis, and building capability across the organisation, as well as executing talent acquisition plans.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the GM Human Resources in the development and implementation of the People Strategy, as well as employment/education training, employee development, compensation, benefits etc.
  • Work with the CEO on key culture programs
  • Provide HR services and solutions to the business
  • Interpret HR policies and employment legislation, advise on risk management, support managers in handling people management, industrial relations and change processes
  • Undertake and manage the recruitment process for the business unit
  • Drive the annual performance appraisal process

The Individual

To be successful in this role, you will be a strategic HR professional who has exceptional work ethic and strong skills in building strategic partnerships. You will also be able to deliver on the following:

  • Quality of advice measured by feedback from clients
  • Timeliness and responsiveness of service level
  • Quality of HR solutions and initiatives as agreed
  • Full compliance to relevant employment regulatory requirements in delivery of advice and processes.
  • Establishment of credibility as trusted advisor and strategic enabler within client group
  • Efficient execution of the delivery of HR Services
