The Role

As Service Desk Analyst you will be reporting into the Service Desk Manager, in a busy environment. You will be supporting multiple sites and troubleshooting in-house software, hardware/networking, phones/faxes/printers, emails, and internet/infrastructure issues across the following:

  • Windows 7/8
  • Microsoft Server 2008 / 2012
  • Active Directory
  • Group Policy
  • Exchange 2010
  • VMware
  • Peripherals - printers etc.
  • Smart devices (iOS & Android)
  • Office 365 (desirable)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as Level 1/2 contact within the helpdesk team;
  • Providing exceptional customer service at all times;
  • Managing helpdesk tickets, planning and prioritizing tasks;
  • Deploying desktops, laptops and other peripheral devices;
  • Troubleshooting technical issues to resolution or escalate when required.

About You - A suitable candidate?

A strong problem solver and committed to customer service, you will be experienced in providing excellent IT support, offering solution orientated communications to various client sites.

You will have:

  • Experience working with ticketing systems;
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology desirable;
  • The drive to work in a fast paced environment;
  • An ability to communicate technical support to non-technical individuals;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client service;
  • Good knowledge of Windows 7 /10 and VMWare/Citrix;
