A multinational national client based in the North Shore suburbs has an exciting new role for Lync Support Engineer to form part of the technical service delivery and operational support team in the rapidly growing NSW region of the business.
The Support Engineer works in the Technical Team and has responsibility for technical design, implementation support and escalated issues affecting service delivery and customer satisfaction levels of clients.
The first stage in the journey will involve working in a LAB environment to fully immerse yourself in the product suite and issues you will come across.

Working with the LYNC Principal Lync Architect and Professional Services Lead,
Provide support to internal systems/QA testing as may be assigned.
Liaise with internal/external project teams to ensure effective implementation of solutions.
Liaise with the Development Group to assist in problem resolution and system design.
Assist in the design of customer Voice and Data networks.
Own and be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of signed projects including relevant hardware/software purchase and availability.
Provide post implementation support in the form of testing, onsite adhoc training and customer go live support.
Pre Sales support of Microsoft products (may be in the form of off-site meetings or presentations).
Provide all levels of technical support to company's Premium Partners and Authorized Resellers.
Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support to customer / partners and internal colleagues.
Take ownership of any/all support calls that are escalated to you and be responsible for seeing them through to a successful completion.
Use Lab equipment to recreate and verify escalated matters.
Undertake on-site technical support where appropriate.
Identify any deficiencies in the support processes and develop ways of improving them.
Provide technical written material (whitepaper) to the Documentation Group for publication.
Maintain and expand service and product knowledge.
Create and maintain documentation relevant to position or as directed by management.
Provide training, both internally and externally, as required.
