About the Company



The IT-based company is in a stage of growth, in the process of expansion they require an experienced IT Support Officer to join their IT service desk team.



The company has a track record of success, with the on time delivery of benchmark SLAs, the office is located a short 10 minute walk from North Sydney Station.



The role


As the Service Desk Analyst, you'll be responsible for providing a range of IT support for all desktops, hardware, software, and networking issues.



You will troubleshoot and solve complex issues including diverse business software applications and hardware systems. You will have track record of providing level 1-2 support to managed service clients remote and onsite.



Your duties will involve using a variety of service desk software to support internal systems, reporting directly to the IT manager and working closely with system administrators and engineers. You will be self-motivated, and have a demonstrated proficiency in the following technologies:



  • Microsoft Stack

  • Active directory and Group Policy

  • Cloud technologies 365, Azure,

  • VMware, Citrix

  • Networking troubleshooting (TCP/IP, LAN etc)



A Suitable Candidate:



The following is required:



  • 2-3 years' experience providing Level 1-2 helpdesk support

  • Full Microsoft Stack proficiency

  • Virtualisation and Cloud software exposure

  • Solutions orientated and self-motivated

  • Proven experience dealing in customer service



This is a full-time permanent role located in North Sydney and is offering $60,000 - 65,000 (plus super) - depending on experience.
