The Role

As part of the technical infrastructure team, you will be responsible for assisting with the measurement, analysis and reporting of risks associated with IT across the organization. You will also be responsible for advising business and IT units in all facets of Information Security, so as to facilitate compliance with the organisation's information security policy, business requirements and risk position. This includes managing the day to day, operational effectiveness of the organisation's IT security measures. You will oversee and be involved in managing the development, planning, testing and administration of the organisation's Disaster Recovery plans and procedures. Part of the responsibility will be ensuring applications are compiled and respond to all New Business Requirement security related questions.

Key responsibilities;

  • Liaise with Auditors to show that PEN TEST have been done - and ensure HIGH Risk issues raised from PEN testing are closed/resolved
  • Continually clean up the environment to ensure IT Security Audits are passed
  • Server Hardening, clean up and Access Management (Creating 'Power users'/and monitoring the number of users with admin rights)
  • Ensure windows firewalls are in place on all servers
  • Security of Eclipx's External facing website to ensure the sites is compliant, review of information on the website
  • Go through external facing website and work with Software Delivery team to check and ensure no vulnerability of website
  • Overseeing the business's DR future plans and procedures

Your Background:

  • The ability to review how Eclipx are currently operating, and make, research and make educated suggestions of how they can better operate in terms of systems and information security
  • A sound has understanding of Information security as well as the hands security engineering
  • Previous exposure to dealing with information/security processes with good attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and collaboration skills, with excellent attention to detail
