An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer with experience in a standalone role to join a reputable organisation within the Health sector. Based in Melbourne's inner suburbs, this is a rare opportunity to join a fantastic organisation with a supportive environment whilst working for a great cause.
This standalone Senior Payroll Officer will sit within the Finance team, reporting to the Business Services Manager. You will take full ownership of the smooth running of their payroll of approximately 600 employees. The main responsibilities of this standalone Senior Payroll Office role will include:
* Fortnightly preparation and processing of end to end payroll using TimeTarget and HR3.
* EBA and Award interpretation
* Prepare annual payment summaries, preparing and lodging of annual payment summary to ATO
* Processing payroll tax and superannuation
* Resolve difficult queries and providing high standard of customer service
* Contribute to the improvement and streamlining of the payroll process
This position requires an experienced and self-motivated Senior Payroll Officer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an end to end Payroll Officer role. You will have excellent customer service and communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will have prior experience managing a payroll in a standalone position and will be experienced and confident interpreting EBAs and Awards. This is an exciting opportunity to take sole responsibility for end to end payroll and become an integral member of the Finance team.
