Our client is a well-known FMCG brand with over 200 stores in Australia. They are currently looking for somebody to join the team on a 12-month maternity leave cover. This modern organisation has one of the coolest offices in Melbourne and is known for offering flexible working hours.
This will be a dynamic role where a balance between the right technical accounting skills and an ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders across the globe will be crucial.
The role will focus on following tasks:
- Financial statement preparation
- Inventory Management
- Sound knowledge of IFRS standards
- Sales and COGS analysis
- Complex reconciliations
- Liaising with auditors
- Ad hoc analysis
- Statutory Reporting
- Process improvements where possible
This opportunity has the potential to turn into a permanent position
You will be a CA/CPA qualified Financial Accountant, ideally experienced working with inventory / COGS, with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. You have a sound understanding of IFRS, you are an effective communicator and you have the ability to meet deadlines on a consistent basis.
