The Company


As a large healthcare entity with an outstanding reputation for clinical care, which is striving towards continuous improvements, our client is one of Melbourne's most diverse and capable healthcare providers. Their capabilities across several facilities in speciality healthcare, research and treatment are State-renowned and they are now embarking on a significant internal project, to drive efficiency and organisational achievements.


As a consequence of this, they are looking for a highly talented Business Analyst to identify, document and help to implement these essential business changes.


The Role


Reporting into the Director of Organisational Change, the Business Analyst will have responsibilities which cover:



  • Provision of analysis and research of current workflows

  • Requirements gathering around changes within both individual and team workflows

  • Analysing the rostering and working processes of over 800 clinicians

  • Running a process to streamline current workflow reporting processes

  • Reporting to the Project Sponsor, who sits on the Senior Management Team

  • Presenting to and advising the steering committee on progress and project requirements

  • Using project methodologies to maximise the efficiency of the project


Your Profile


You will be an individual with a strong analytical background who enjoys seeing the tangible results of your work. You will be an analyst who thrives on an understanding of both the "big picture" but also can work in a role where detail is key. You will be comfortable in handling large amounts of data and form a bridge between the business and systems element of the organisation.


You will have proven, demonstrated experience in a challenging Business Analysis role, which has necessitated a great deal of ownership and an requirement to present at a senior level. Your knowledge and experience will encompass business process improvements and you will be passionate about exacting organisational change.


You will be an outstanding communicator, who is passionate about and takes full ownership of your work. You will be part of a team driving a significant organisational change which, whilst fully sponsored and supported, is subject to some strict budgetary constraints.
