Robert Half is recruiting for a well known Australian company based in the CBD, which has an immediate opportunity for an Accounts Officer to join their finance team. The role is replacing a permanent employee and will ideally transition into a permanent role after 2-3 months.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
- Accounts Payable
- Invoice Processing
- Payment Runs
- Bank Reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable
- Collection calls for outstanding debtors
- Payroll Administration
- Assistance with Month-End
To be suitable for this role you will have a minimum of 18 months experience working in a high volume environment within a similar role. You will also have excellent communication skills and high attention to detail. You will have a natural ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Intermediate Excel skills and MYOB would be desirable (but not essential).
