The Company

Robert Half is recruiting for a well known Australian company based in the City Fringe, which has an immediate opportunity for an Accounts Officer to join their finance team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave, and suits someone keen on a fast paced, high volume environment will be well suited to this position.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Accounts Payable

  • Invoice Processing

  • Payment Runs

  • Bank Reconciliations

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Allocations

  • Collection calls for outstanding debtors

  • Payroll

Your Profile

To be suitable for this role you will have a minimum of 18 months experience working in a high volume environment within a similar role. You will also have excellent communication skills and high attention to detail. You will have a natural ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Intermediate Excel skills and MYOB exposure would be desirable.
