Our client leads the way in their field - as an IT service provider which has seen impressive growth and success in Australia over the past couple of years they are an expanding organisation. This has created a fast paced environment where team members must evolve and work in tandem with the commercial goals of the overall business.
You will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring and performance of client systems, along with providing technical assistance in an escalation capacity. You will liaise closely with clients, providing valuable consultancy services and direction regarding IT strategy and budgeting. You will add value through your technical background and be responsible for maintaining relationships and client retention.
Specific duties will include:
- Act as clients point of contact for any questions or escalations
- Conduct regular client meetings
- Produce monthly executive reports
- Provide backup and disaster recovery advice
- Ensure work is tracked and completed within specific SLA's
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors
- Management of a technical team of 10
This role will be a blend of a utilizing a technical background, account management and commercial acumen.
You will be an accomplished IT professional with a strong technical background, perhaps in a Senior Systems Engineer or Administrator capacity, who has also had managerial experience in an ITIL environment.
You will have great interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience providing excellent customer service and user experience.
From a technical perspective you will have strong ConnectWise experience, this is an absolute must have. In addition, experience of the administration of Windows Servers, virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) and server technologies (Active Directory, Exchange) would be highly advantageous.
Ideally you will have experience of providing IT business strategy, budgeting and strategic direction and also producing effective reports as you will be predominantly focused on business outcomes and service delivery.
Experience in small-medium sized enterprises would also be hugely advantageous.
