The Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Senior Finance Manager will oversee the financials of the Australian organisation whilst managing a small, well performing and passionate finance team.

The Responsibilities:

  • Dual report to Managing Director and APAC Finance Director
  • Regional financial & management reporting and consolidation with variance analysis reports/commentaries for all regions
  • Statutory reporting for all legal entities, including corporate financial governance and legal compliance
  • Coordinate and prepare the annual budgets, including operating budgets
  • Ensure the accurate preparation and reporting of monthly financial results in strict accordance with Company deadlines
  • Where required, provide assistance and direction to managers and directors with regards to the preparation of budgets
  • Oversee all legal entities compliance with statutory authorities and audit requirements for all countries within Region
  • Ensure all taxation and legislative requirements are complied with at all times for all countries within Region
  • M&A activity & due diligence support as required
  • Treasury, working capital, cash and interest rate management
  • Maintaining and structuring accurate and timely financial information in a changing business environment
  • Identify budget risk metrics against actuals on a monthly basis
  • Act as key contact point to multiple business units, where advice on technical accounting, business process, cost and expenses is needed

The Requirements:

  • Australian CPA/CA qualification and relevant undergraduate degree
  • Excellent communication skills, experienced in remote communication
  • Minimum 10-years relevant work experience with at least 2-years people management experience
  • Experience in a construction/consultancy/service sector highly valued
  • Significant experience in an operational and commercially focused finance role within a multi-national company
  • IFRS experience strongly preferred
  • Experience of working with large ERP's
