Risk & Compliance Manager - Six Month Contract

Our client is a highly admired and much envied innovator in the financial services and technology sector. A rapidly expanding business who have become a byword for success in innovation over the last decade, they continue to expand and diversify their unparalleled service offering. As part of their ethos to continuously improve and innovate whilst maintaining assurances and frameworks necessary for compliance, they now have an urgent requirement for an experienced Operational Risk and Compliance Manager for what will initially be a six month contract.
Reporting directly into the Head of the Operational Risk and Compliance, this role will carry several core responsibilities around assessment and documentation of existing risks management and compliance standards across the business. This will include but will not be limited to:
This role will involve liaising with several core stakeholder groups across the business including IT, Finance, Procurement, HR and Communications - amongst others and the incumbent will be responsible for delivering reports and audits to effectively manage and improve the compliance process from end to end.
As an Agile and highly dynamic business, these tasks will need to be delivered in a framework which can cope with the often highly changeable and diverse needs of the business.

You will be an experienced and highly knowledgeable Risk and Compliance professional who has a background in working in a regulatory environment. You will be an exceptional communicator with a strong focus on achieving outcomes and a strong background in compliance, assurance or internal audit. You will be experienced in working with both IT and finance and have experience of managing operational risk and compliance from multiple perspectives.
You will be comfortable in working with stakeholders at a senior leadership/exec level and have a high degree of comfort in leading multiple change initiatives simultaneously.
