The project manager role reports through to the head of payment operations and involves managing a diverse portfolio of business and technology projects. Projects range in size from small bau projects to large scale software implementations, some also have a strong technology flavour whilst others focus on business continuity. The positions suits a project manager with a dynamic approach who can quickly reorientate their thinking as they move from one piece of work to the next. This role will also see you work on project delivery from end to end and you will be an integral part of the business, linking together internal business areas, and also working closely with external business partners and clients.
It is vital that this person has brilliant communication and organisation skills. You will be able to form bonds from ground-level through to CEO, and have both an analytical mind-set and the ability to think laterally.

Given the nature of the business it is likely that you have worked in the finance domain. You may have worked in banking, virtual payments, cards; as a key focus of the role is delivering projects focused on payment processing and transactions, some subject matter knowledge, and interest in fin-tech/payments is going to be important.
Aside from subject matter knowledge, it is equally important that you have a very analytical mindset and enjoy problem solving. You should also be highly adaptable and be comfortable simultaneously managing a complex software project to a continuous improvement project. You should have a robust knowledge of different project methodologies and apply your knowledge and creativity to provide innovative solutions to business challenges.
