Our client, a successful and well established organisation within the Health Industry, is currently looking for a hardworking and proven Payroll Officer to join their team. A well respected company in their field, the company is looking for a professional and experienced individual to join their large team. Based in a great CBD environment, the role offers a competitive salary and a great team environment.
Working within a highly successful and motivated team, you will report to the Payroll Manager. You will be expected to hit the ground running and your main responsibilities will include:
- Full function Payroll (High Volume)
- Interrupt awards and EBA's
- Complete month end and year end processes including superannuation and payroll tax obligations
- Processing payroll tax and PAYG payments
- Processing timesheets
- Calculating annual leave
- New starters and terminations
- Ad Hoc duties as per request
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar Payroll Officer role. Ideally you will have experience in the Health Industry and will be familiar with large Payroll systems such as Micropay, Sage and Chris21. You will be able to handle multiple responsibilities and will complete all tasks with accuracy. You will be expected to interact with both internal and external customers, so strong communication and rapport building skills are essential.
