This business holds multiple business streams which all require additional operational governance and as such, an opportunity for an Operations Coordinator has presented itself.

The Role

Reporting directly into the Operations Manager, the role will be to both assist and individually run with operational projects that span across procurement, risk, legislation, OH&S as well as specialized initiatives. Specifically, the Operations Coordinator will;

  • Assess and correct operational compliance in order to adhere to multiple industry standards.
  • Drive the risk register whilst identifying and implementing additional mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the OH&S team to bolster the overall performance and foster a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Assess and correct the current risk and control governance frameworks.
  • Manage the expectations of all the key stakeholders with timely and informative communication.
  • Manage the evaluation of both process & system improvements to enhance customer experience.

Your Profile

You will have previously held an Operations Coordinator role and possess a high level of energy, as well as being someone who thrives in a relationship driven environment. You will aspire to climb the ladder to Senior Operational roles by heaviling investing in developing a 360-degree set of Operations Management skills. Your Experience will include some of the following specifications;

  • Operations management and compliance experience in corproate hotel environments or similar.
  • An ability to review and correct standard operating procedures and systems.
  • Exposure to PCIDSS audits, risk reviews or standard operating procedure analysis will be beneficial.
  • A proven ability to receive and implement feedback from stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • An ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
  • A high level of enthusiasm with a 'can do' attitude.
  • An ability to simultaneously prioritise projects and manage resources.
