ICT QA Advisor - 12 Month Contract
$12000 - 13000 / annum
Our client is a long established, highly respected National organisation who have occupied a pivotal position in the pharmaceutical sector for several decades. As part of an extensive and far-reaching audit of their Quality Assurance and Quality Management framework - particularly as it intersects with their IT teams - they now have a requirement for an experienced QA Manager to drive an improvement programme over a period of 12 months.

Reporting directly into the Head of Compliance, the QA Manager will carry several core responsibilities around assessment and documentation of existing adherence to policies, whilst working with a broad range of stakeholders to identify gaps and vulnerabilities in this adherence as well as opportunities for improvement and a plan to enact this. One of the main areas of focus will be regulatory and compliance to organisation-wide standards from within the IT team in particular.
Their key responsibilities will include:
- Defining current and future QA and QMS policies and business rules
- Establishing new QA processes and procedures across IT and the wider organisation
- Assessing vulnerabilities and risks within the existing IT structure
- Documenting as is and to be in a challenging timeframe
- Working with stakeholders within IT to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance
- Documenting functional QA policies across departments
- Reporting changes and improvements back to the business on a regular basis
- Deputising for the Compliance and Risk Manager when required
You will be an experienced and highly knowledgeable QA professional who has a background in working in a highly regulated environment and who is looking for a challenging and engaging contract role. You will be highly versed in working with numerous teams - particularly those within IT - to overcome the difficulties of maintaining adherence to regulatory compliance whilst simultaneously fostering a culture of innovation and development.
A confident communicator, you will be at ease in working with and presenting to all levels within an organisation and demonstrate an ability to inspire trust and confidence across the organisation. In turn, you will benefit from working within an organisation which respects and empowers its employees - be they contractors or permanent members of staff.
