This Manager for Data Governance and Quality is a vital lead position in a growing Growth, Strategy, and Analytics team. This person will manage a small team of data stewards and data specialists, whilst also managing upwards and building strong relationships throughout the business. This is a leadership position in a high-performance team, and every manager champions the importance and value of their area throughout the business. At a peer level you will work closely with heads of BI, Predictive Analytics and Strategy and share the collegial vision of the value the Growth Strategy and Analytics team can add to the organization.
This is a permanent role with the organization and will evolve over time as its maturity levels lift. Initially, designing and rolling out an enterprise wide data governance framework and designing a data governance roadmap will be a key component of the work. This will involve communicating data quality standards, resolving issues escalated by the business and functional teams, as well as working closely with the senior and executive leadership teams.
The business is also driving several innovative projects and the Data Governance and Quality Manager will work closely with Product areas and Marketing to help them enhance their data standards and ultimately maximize their growth potential. The team is made up of subject matter experts, but in addition to their specialist knowledge they are dynamic and passionate people who inspire people and enhance the business at every opportunity.
