Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced Company Accountant/ Bookkeeper to join a leading IT organisation with operations across Australia. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work in newly refurbished, modern offices centrally located in the CBD.
This is a 6 month temporary assignment starting ASAP.
Reporting to Finance Manager, your duties will include:
* End to end weekly payroll
* Processing new starters, terminations, redundancies
* Calculating leave entitlements
* Processing Superannuation payments
* Preparing BAS returns
* Bank reconciliations
* Processing monthly journals
* Month end duties as requested
To be successful, you have 5 years+ experience as a Company Accountant/ Bookkeeper in a similar SME sized organisation. Previous experience processing the end to end company Payroll is essential. You will be a good communicator with a customer service approach and the ability to work to deadlines. Intermediate/advanced Excel skills as well as ERP system experience is also essential.
