Commercial Analyst - Pharmaceuticals - Temp to Perm
$45 - 50 / hour
Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceutical products across the ANZ region. They have recently gone through a successful merger which has resulted in an increased market share and improved profitability overall. Whilst being part of a large multinational corporate, they have been successful in ensuring that all employees feel like they have a direct input into business performance. This business is famed for treating its staff well and ensuring their people are well looked after and valued within the organization.
As a result of a recent restructure, they are seeking a talented commercial analyst who is able to partner with both financial and non-financial stakeholders within the business. Ordinarily, you will deal with the heads of various business units as well as the sales team in reviewing financial data, communicating your findings, and making recommendations to further drive efficiencies and improvements within the business.
In addition to your soft skills, you will be technically proficient in dealing with large data sets, manipulating large amounts of data out of various ERPs and ideally, have experience in creating dashboards in excel which can easily highlight relevant KPI's to all levels of management.
* Forecasting and reporting
* Commercial Analysis and interpretation
* Medium and long term strategy and planning
* Identifying and reporting on areas of potential process and efficiency improvement
* Oversight and management of the month end process
* Monthly management reporting and performance analysis
CA/CPA qualified, you will be an experienced Business, Financial Analyst with strong budgeting and forecasting skills and the ability to present to all levels within the organisation. Comfortable with a multi-faceted role and interacting with both the finance as well as the sales and marketing functions of the business, you will also be comfortable working in an autonomous environment and thinking on your feet. You will possess strong business partnering capability and an innate ability to quickly interpret commercial data for the benefit of the business.
You will have strong Excel skills and the ability to create reports for both the finance team and the wider business. You will also be an exceptionally capable verbal and written communicator who is ready to join a vibrant, innovative and lean team on an interim basis.
You should be immediately available to start in a short term contract role of up to 3 months.
