Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant - Revenue to join an organisation within the infrastructure industry. The organisation's offices are based in Melbourne's CBD with a friendly, supportive and social culture. This is a 12 month assignment and a great opportunity to start 2018 with a new and challenging position.
Reporting to Finance Manager, your duties will include:
* Reconciliation within a high volume transactional environment
* Checking costs, revenues and margins
* Month-end tasks: data manipulation, data cleansing
* Reviewing documentation/contracts
* Complex reconciliations
* Month-end billing
* Revenue recognition and reporting
The environment can be fast paced and highly pressure so applicants must be able to work effectively in busy, deadline driven environment.
Essential for this role is an advanced level of Excel including pivot tables and v/look-ups. An ability to set up nee databased would be an advantage..
To be successful, you will be an experienced Assistant Accountant with strong interpersonal skills and proven excel skills with experience using functions such as pivot tables and v-lookups. You will have excellent communication skills as well as a strong work ethic and have flexibility and resilience in your approach to work. This is a 12 month assignment starting before Christmas.
