Due to an internal promotion, they are currently seeking an experienced Finance Officer to support their business on a temporary to permanent basis, with an immediate start.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the accounts payable and receivable functions including various reconciliation duties. As a member of the finance team you will also be involved in ad hoc administration tasks when required.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure invoices are correctly coded and authorised for processing.
- Following up on outstanding accounts and general queries.
- Preparing payment runs and following up on invoices with various sites across Australia.
- Account Reconciliations.
- Assistance with purchasing queries.
- Filing and record management.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of large ERP's, ie, Pronto as well as a strong background in accounts payable and receivable coupled with strong reconciliation skills. You will be proficient in Excel and have superior organisational skills. In addition you will have strong written and verbal communication and possess the ability to take initiative to work independently and as a part of the team.
