Robert Half has an exciting opportunity working with a well-known and very well respected Retail company in the outskirts of Sydney's CBD. They are located close to public transport lines and boast extremely dynamic, modern, open planned offices. Due to an internal promotion they are looking for a Collections Officer who values team work to join them with an immediate start. This is an ongoing role that has the potential to turn into a long term opportunity with strong performance.
As the successful candidate you will report directly into an approachable and supportive Credit Manager and will be responsible or the collection of funds from accounts in arrears of 30 days. Managing a varied ledger of accounts no two days will be the same as you make good use of your customer service skills, negotiating payment plans and escalating any issues to your manager as required. You will work very closely with the Accounts Receivable team and will have the chance to be involved with other duties including General Ledger reconciliations.
